  • Rebranding to Reach Adult Learners

    FMCC’s External Partnerships and Applied Learning department designed the college’s new logo, overhauled its website, and developed new marketing campaigns and materials for its program offerings. The rebrand drew from behavioral design to create engaging messaging and its program marketing campaigns focused on potential career and salary outcomes. Program advertisements and flyers noted program length and hands-on learning opportunities. Marketing materials used visuals that showed what potential careers look like in practice, helping students see themselves in those program-aligned roles.

  • Transforming ESL: Boosting Student Achievement

    Recognizing the need to improve course completion and graduation rates for multilingual students, Reading Area Community College undertook a comprehensive transformation of their Academic ESL program, introducing a new initiative called English for Academic Purposes (EAP). Faculty members became actively engaged in the intake process, collaborating closely with advisors to ensure precise student placement. The college also implemented a standardized curriculum for EAP courses. Faculty members received valuable guidance and mentoring to deliver consistent, high-quality instruction across diverse learning modalities, including online, virtual, and face-to-face classes.
